ARTEMIS Technologies builds software systems for the energy sector. We work on real-time data pipelines, distributed control systems, and the platforms that power energy trading and grid operations. We're a small, focused engineering team in Budapest — no layers, no bureaucracy, just people who build things that work and ship them fast.
Senior Software Engineer
Full-time Energy sector Budapest / Remote
About the role

We're looking for a senior software engineer who builds things end-to-end. You'll work on distributed, event-driven systems powering the energy sector — not just write code, but own the outcome. We want someone who sees a problem, figures out the solution, and ships it. Autonomy is the default here; micromanagement isn't in our vocabulary.

What you'll actually do
Build
Design and ship full features — from React UIs to NestJS services to Kafka consumers
Own
Take a problem from idea to production. You decide the approach, you deliver it
Solve
Debug distributed systems, optimize async pipelines, untangle complex domain logic
Ship
Push code that runs in production the same week. Short cycles, real impact
What we expect
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and modern frontend patterns
  • Backend development with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks
  • Solid database experience across both relational and NoSQL — MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Working knowledge of Kafka and event-driven / async architecture
  • Comfort designing and building distributed systems from scratch
  • A can-do attitude — you default to action, not meetings
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of features and systems
Nice to have
  • Experience in the energy sector or willingness to learn domain-specific concepts
  • Experience with containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines

Senior DevOps Engineer
Full-time Energy sector Budapest / Remote
About the role

We need a senior DevOps engineer to own our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You'll build and maintain cloud-native platforms on Azure, design GitOps workflows, and ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. If you enjoy automating everything and building infrastructure that just works, this is your role.

What you'll actually do
Architect
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform — everything as code
Automate
Build GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD/FluxCD that make deployments boring and reliable
Operate
Run Kubernetes clusters, manage Helm charts, keep production healthy and observable
Scale
Build infrastructure that grows with us — from current workloads to whatever's next
What we expect
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform — this is non-negotiable
  • Kubernetes orchestration, Helm chart management, and cluster operations
  • GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
  • A can-do, ship-it mindset — you build infrastructure that enables fast delivery
  • Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
Nice to have
  • AWS experience — multi-cloud thinking is valued
  • Monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Experience securing cloud-native workloads and managing secrets at scale
